Kids will experience the miracle of Chanukah in their own lives. They’ll discover how good overcomes evil and light takes over darkness. In an interactive scavenger hunt, kids will embark on a "journey" to discover Chanukah’s message. And when they reach victory, they won’t leave the spirit of Chanukah behind!

LESSON 2 IN-DEPTH CLASS Journey of Yourself STAYING HONEST, HUMBLE, AND HAPPY Staying positive about life means staying positive about ourselves. In this second step, we look at the importance of nurturing a healthy self-concept and how to avoid negative feelings about ourselves. Often times it is feelings of nihilism and excessive navel-gazing that drag us down, but they can be countered by two prime, if seemingly paradoxical, Jewish principles: that I matter as an individual—but it isn’t all about me.
