OMG - The Battle Between Faith and Logic
Openly discuss your questions on faith and logic regarding the existence of G-d. Do science and Judaism conflict? Delve deeply into the Torah’s perspective on G-d, faith, and science and discover how they work hand in hand!

Sundays at 12:30 - 1:30 PM starting on September 8, 2024 (Details below)

Cash Award:
Teens will be awarded $17 per lesson for a total of $102 at the end of the course.
You must attend at least 5 out of the 6 lessons to earn this award.

HOW CAN WE KNOW IF THERE’S A G-D?
Is the belief in G-d based on logic, or merely "blind faith" alone? What kind of evidence is needed to "prove" that G-d exists?

2.  September 15, 2024
IS THERE LOGICAL PROOF THAT G-D EXISTS?
Where did the belief in G-d come from? Is there rational evidence that G-d exists?

3.  September 22, 2024
DO SCIENCE AND JUDAISM CONFLICT?
Does science conflict with religion? Do scientific theories about the origin of life conflict with the creation stories in Genesis? Can one embrace science and G-d?

4. November 3, 2024
DO I HAVE TO BELIEVE IN G-D TO BE A GOOD PERSON?
Can I be a good person without believing in G-d? Could science or philosophy create a universal moral standard? What are the roots of ethics and morals?

5.  November 10, 2024
HOW DO WE KNOW IF THE TORAH IS TRUE?
Is there evidence that the Torah is really the word of G-d? Is the Jewish claim any different than those of others?

6.  November 17, 2024
WHY CAN’T I SEE G-D?
What is G-d’s purpose in creating this universe? What role do I have in G-d’s plan? Is there virtue in faith alone, without understanding?
